"Piece Of Work" release

Post by Pascagoula Runner »

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but my brother (program director at WVEZ The "Dawg" in Huntington W.V.) told me that POW has been remixed with Jimmy doing the vocals only and will be released as the next single. :pirate: Has anyone else heard this??? 8)

We talked about it a few weeks ago, but I don't recall seeing a release date. Here's the thread where it was discussed;

Does your brother in law have any insight on the date?

He left a message yesterday. He did not say when it would be released, but did say that he thought it would move slower than TATS. Not sure if that is because of lack of label effort or due to song itself.

He thought they really 'missed the boat' by not releasing LTC immediately after Kenny was named Artist Of The Year.

Why were Toby's vocals removed??? Did the label not want to compete with Toby's current duet with his daughter (Mockingbird)???

Brown Eyes and Ilph shared some really good insights in the other thread. Give it a read through.

Thanks for the props, Four Play! :D I would be very interested to know when the single will be released. It would be interesting to see how it does on the charts and how much support RCA gives it.
