These are our national animals and should NOT be eaten
Why not? They eat them over there all the time. Or so my dad says.
yeah we do .. every other meal - just like I have Kangaroo's jumping down my street

Nope - you cannot buy it in supermarkets here. Some restaurants may sell it -but that is mainly the "foster drinking tourist trade" ....

Locals really do not eat it ......

Except we don't go out and shoot the American flag by the thousands.

Isn't it hard to get them up on the pole like that?

This is just rude and I am not going to dignify with a response, except, I would like to see how politely you would respond if I had a go at something you were patriotic about .......

Actually, I am going to show I have a sense of humour and say that we are able to get them up the flag pole, by hanging them by the scrotum - that is how we get those bags for the tourists to buy ....

and that is how some people SHOULD be hung at times too

I think the comparision you may have been looking for was an Amercian Bald Ealge and I'm pretty sure that there are rnplenty of sick bastids out there that would love to shoot one.

It's really sad if he's hurt or doesn't make it in the cold, snow & ice. :(

Well duh - he's just trying to get the he** outta Dodge!

But in all seriousness, I hope he survives his wintery adventure. :(

The Roo has been captured!

http://www.channel3000.com/news/4045431/detail.html

All the local news stations last night had 2 lead stories - the impending snow storm, and the hurt for the red kangaroo - they all had reporters on the scene looking.

This guy's a genius:
On Tuesday, News 3's Joel DeSpain spent the day in Iowa County trying to help find the kangaroo. At one point, he thought he spotted it. But it turned out to be a cat.
Great searching skills - 150 lb kangaroo vs a cat - I can see how that mistake could be made

And this good bit of advice for us Wisconsinites:
Officials warn if you see a kangaroo in the wild, do not pet it, police said.
Is it day?
