OK I'm opening my Mardi gras Beads and this story was remembered
from last year..

I love Mardi Gras.. I spend about 150$ a year on beads.. last year
There is this very pretty girl in the corner behind the pool tables
with her B/F Hubby? who knows. any way she keeps back in the corner
and won't make eye contact or look at the beads.. HER B/F
comes up to me and says "hey I'll buy your beer for the rest of the night
if you will go offer Her a set of beads" I say well I figured that she did not want to trade.. He says "she thinks they are too small and no one wants to look" Me she is way pretty and anyway they are not small at all
I look behind me.. Guess who.. so we make a trade (very nice)
and she takes off all through the bar and in like half an hour she has a neck load of beads..
she trades with ME again. and goes off berry happy
( me happy too) Her B/F is good to his word and I did not even get to half a beer the rest of the night :pirate:

I done a good deed... 8)

A real altruist would have just taken the reward of knowing they'd done a good deed; and turned down the free beer. :D

I tried that,his reply was " a deal is a deal"
He was very grateful. And truly I did not really think of the
whole picture till the next day and thought about what all went on :D :D

yeah... although maybe if you had tossed in a set of "Krispy Kreme" beads, the previous one could have stood. :D
