I can add Banana Wind to my collection now, picked it up earlier today.

After listening to this album 1,000 times over on the net, I decided to stop

wasting time so I went out and bought it. The album is awesome overall,

whole bunch of great tunes. The title track was a suprise to me, thought

their would be lyrics to this song but that's alright, I can handle an

instrumental.

My sister walked down the aisle (as in wedding aisle) for the second of her three unsuccessful marriages. It seemed like a good idea at the time!

The first time I went to Key West, I stayed at the Grand Hyatt. The ONLY thing they played all day at "Scuttles"(the pool bar) was "Bananna Wind". Seriously...it was on a 24 hour loop. I had absolutely no idea it was a Jimmy song until I bought the album.

As if I need more reason, BW always makes me think of my first time in Key West. :D

Banana Wind may be my favorite regular album by Buffett. I love the hits and live CDs the most, but this one is a great one. I bought it one spring and popped it into the CD player on the way to my Mayterm class one year. I was living at home and commuting about 35 minutes back and forth each day. The CD did not come out of the player the whole 3 weeks, and that's what got me through that summer-time class. I love it! Each track is so good, one right after the other! When I was at the Cincinnati Zoo last summer, they had a manatee exhibit. Banana Wind (song) played continuously over the house speakers the whole time. The workers didn't even know what it was, but I knew! Enjoy this great album, its a classic!

Banan Wind was an excellent choice ... a very good CD. Floridays would be another good choice ... both are high on my list but ......... I would suggest maybe a live album ... 'You Had To Be There' would top the list there. :D

Depending on which way you want to go....new or old.

New(er)....I'd say go with Barometer Soup or Fruitcakes.

Older....Floridays or A1A. Either way you can't go wrong. :D

none

From what I'm hearing, Floridays is a good album. I haven't listened to

that one much on the net but I think I'll start. I'm going by what my local

Borders has, next up will be OPH, 3/4's Time, and Fruitcakes. Floridays

and the rest on my list I'm gonna have to order. I'll be doing plenty of

Buffett buying come summer, no doubt.
