Tiki Beach Bar in Ambergris Caye, Belize

I am beginning the process of planning to set up a new beach bar and grill on the beach in Ambergris Caye, Belize that will carry a strong Buffett theme in everything (music, decor, food, etc). I would very much appreciate any ideas, suggestions or input from folks out there who have experience or contacts in setting up a business in Belize.

That's a great idea!! Because San Pedro was one of the main places in his book A Salty Piece of Land, I'm sure a lot of Parrotheads will be migrating down there to check the place out. Good luck with setting this up!!!

Friends of mine have property over on Long Caye....so when I go visit I'll most dephinitley pay your place a visit as well!

They are looking into the possibility of business down there too, similar to yours....next time I talk to them I'll see what kind of info I can get for you.....

I think you should definitely have some Buffettesque wooden signs with a rustic look to them.
Although I'm not sure what the legal ins and outs are.
A thick clear polyeurothane bartop with maybe a Buffett cd cover or seven would rock too.
Maybe you can get some ideas from A Salty Piece of Land ,ya know such as serving a drink called "mother's milk"
