A local cool to hear, I live 20 minutes from Rocky Mount and go there quite often. I think if we leave at 7 and go the back roads we can avoid the hell of 220 at the morning rush hour commute.
We are not staying at Amerisuites they were sold out, we are staying at a Days Inn off I-77 about 10 miles from the coliseum the room was only 20 bucks so you can't go wrong there. Like I said we have to make a couple of stops before we hit the coliseum so I hope to be there around 3 or 4.

The extended forecast for Charlotte on Wednesday is 60 degrees with a chance of rain....but, this is NC, and that could easily change....Hopefully, the rain chance will go away, and we will just have 60 degrees!! Five more days!! (Hope he adds Salty Piece of Land to the show... )
There's just too much to see waiting in front of me.....
BTW, I still have some hotel reservations at various locations if anyone still needs a room. I'll be happy to change the reservation over to your name.

Drink, drink, listen to Jimmy, fall asleep because I've got to be back in Atlanta by noon the next day.
Actually, I'm hoping to be at the Amerisuites around 12-1. If its nice, maybe party in the Amerisuites lot. If not, head to Jocks and Jills. My sister (a Buffett virgin) will be coming in around 4-5. I may take her through the lot to see the madness.
Has anyone heard if the parking lot will be opening early? They have in the past but I have not been able to find out anything so far. Thanks for any help!

Which means the lots will probably be open around 2.
Possible, but I wouldn't bet the farm. One time JB came to Charlotte and the parking lot opened at 6:00 PM for an 8:00 PM show (not the coliseum, though). There were cars for miles in all directions from about 4:30 on.
our experience with charlotte is there will usually be a section open early but you may have to pay twice the fee to park
this was the case a couple years ago but we shall see
enjoy parking this year because if jimmy comes next year and plays at the new arena parking is going to be hell. look at the panther games for example, we parked in gravel pit and paid 20 bucks for it. I might be wrong but the location of the arena in uptown tends to make me believe parking will be scarce or non existant.

I agree with you, it is terrible trying to find a spot for the Panthers game where you don't have to walk 2 mi. to the stadium. Maybe he will come back to Verizon next year.
