Tickets priced at $200, $100 and $65, not including applicable service charges and taxes, go on sale Saturday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. at the MGM Grand Garden Arena box office. Tickets also will be sold at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (Tower Records/WOW!, Smith’s Food and Drug Centers, Robinsons-May stores and Ritmo Latino) and ticket sales are limited to eight (8) per person. To charge by phone with a major credit card, call MGM Grand Reservations at 800-929-1111/702-891-7777 or Ticketmaster at (702) 474-4000. Buffett uses his travels and storytelling skills to explain the world at large to his far-flung legion of fans, affectionately known as Parrotheads. Parrotheads are known for their colorful, tropically outrageous outfits at the concerts and many of Buffett’s songs inspire the unusual wardrobe.


Buffett's newest CD, License To Chill, debuted at No. 1 on both the pop and country charts and was the first No. 1 record of his career. The collection, which features duets with some of country’s biggest stars including Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith and Martina McBride among others, spent 15 weeks in the Top 10 of the Billboard Country Albums Chart and has been certified platinum by the RIAA.

Mike at Tropotravel got us a good rate for the San Remo. Ten of us parrotheads from OK will be staying there. His website is www.tropotravel.com

The San Remo is right across the street from the MGM. I've stayed there before. Nothing fancy, but decent.
