I'm not from WI...but it is in my blood and traveled there a lot when I was younger....back when all you had for entertainment on a road trip from Cali to WI and back was a box of crayons, a coloring book, car games and a good imagination. I do have a lot of Bucky Badgers tho! Welcome to BN!
a) my condolences on that whole "wrong side of the rivers problem" and
b) I didn't know they had cars back then.
Yaheydare, I lived in kenosha for a year and only miss Alpine for catestrophic events such as closing on a new house (last year) and very important weddings (not mine) in others.

I still only ever bring a box of crayons, a coloring book, and my outstanding imagination....OK... I bring a cd player too only because my dad wont let us listen to Jimmy. and that is usually when we're heading up North for a family reunion-type vacation (The Eagle River area)

I live in Winona - really! How weird is that? Mr. Momma and I both work in Wisconsin so we consider ourselves to be sort of from Wisconsin. BB - why were you in Winona??
Although I've been a Michigander for the past 13 years, I grew up in Watertown, WI and have an abundance of (blurry) memories of days gone by at the almighty Alpine Valley attending a wide variety of shows including Jimmy. Each visit I make to Alpine, I comment that if I had all the money I've given them since I was 14, I'd be a rich, rich man. Worth every penny though!
~ and as a side note, I've got family in Oshkosh, Winona, LaCrosse and a few of the other places mentioned. Yea, I get around.
Love & Luck!

... my girl, my friends & family, my boat, my music, and my dog... that's what livin' is to me.

Holy cow! How crazy!
I lived in Winona from March of 1999 to December 1999. I used to work for Sprint at the Small Business customer service center there.
