I will say this, though. ALpine always sells out in minutes. I've seen shows at Tinley with tickets available for weeks after they go on sale. Always made me wonder why we didn't get a second show instead of them.
I believe its because Alpine Valley can only have shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday's. Where at Tinley he can have his Tuesdays, Thursday's and Saturday's that he is unable to do that at Alpine.

I know that, but I'd take 2 Saturday shows....early summer, and late summer!!!1

Exactly. And I'd like to know what is the "mistake" he made by not playing Great Woods last year? Was his mistake making hundreds of thousands of dollars (or maybe millions) on the Fenway shows? Or was his mistake selling out Great Woods this year even though he didn't play there last year? hmmmmm.... don't seem to be mistakes to me!

Jimmy Buffett should be forced at gunpoint to play at every venue in the country that people want him to play.

Only so many days in the year, people!!! Can't play everywhere! Remember, he's 58 years old!

And if you saw Buffett on stage at Fenway last year you could see he was enjoying the hell out of it. He looked like a little kid on Christmas morning.

I will miss our annual trip to Alpine for the concert, but we are NOT the only fans who want JB to play locally. Give it a rest and plan a road trip, there are other cool places to see Jimmy.

I've supported Jimmy for years and Alpine doesn't mean dick to me. I think Jones Beach is more important but I'm not going to throw a tantrum like a spoiled little child because he doesn't play there every year anymore. And that should be "come on", not "common".
