No thanks, July 30th is my unofficial bet, but I wouldn't mind being right about July 9th from a year ago. I could prove to my wife that I'm right at least once!

According to the station as well as the Budweiser/Corona distributor here in town, who is actually giving the tix to the station, said if the distributor is giving the tix, it's a pretty sure thing, just no date set as of yet. Both have said the same thing.

Oh - and being the fanatic that I am-----my sister works in a bar, I asked her to talk to her rep, he told her the same thing yesterday as I was working dilligently trying to find any information possible - I guess all we can do is hope it's all true!!!

I'm not disputing the facts here, but I do find it interesting that someone would be giving away tickets to a concert that's doesn't have a date, and which is at least 3 months away. Promotional tickets are usually hawked near the concert date to get the maximum exposure. Just my 2 cents....

I don't know much about the "promotional tix" game, but I was listening to a radio station out of Chicago last night and today- giving away Dave Matthews tix for end of June shows to Alpine.

My Bud/Corona rep still knows nothing.

My last info was directly from M'Ville....they said "no go", but that could've changed, still trying to re-confirm.

this lines up exactly with the message clear channel is expressing as well...my question pertained to the entier season at alpine and if a couple names were to be part of it...buffett was a no...this was over a week ago and I guess things could have changed, but I'm not buying what the bud man is selling at this point, his beer or his ticket info
