But, in another thread, a season ticket holder posted that he was assured there would be no JB show at Alpine but that he would be guaranteed a seat to one of the Wrigley shows.Ilph wrote:Here's my question, how can Alpine guarantee tickets to Buffett at a different venue (Wrigley)?

BADGER BUFFETT BLOW-OUT
I have been reading and keeping an eye on the non-event at alpine. It may still happen but why not throw some gas on the fire. The reason that Alpine hasn't been announced is that negotiations are in the works for CAMP RANDALL.....THAT'S RIGHT. IN THE TRADITION OF THE STONES, PINK FLOYD AND U2 CAMP RANDALL WILL ROCK AGAIN.
I had to bring this out as it has been 4 days on the same page.
Do something you enjoy today 'cause you are giving up a day of your life for it!!!!!!!

Re: BADGER BUFFETT BLOW-OUT
......this wouldn't be a too-far fetched idea, since they are putting the finishing touches on a two-year renovation.......I saw U2 there when they passed through, and while it wasn't an ideal venue, it still buzzed with a lot of energy. I can't imagine what the Madison police would do with a bunch of Parrotheads trying to tailgate around there! It's a whole different crowd than the Bucky fans on game day.A Pirate Past Forty wrote:I have been reading and keeping an eye on the non-event at alpine. If the issue is about $$$$, Camp Randall could probably stuff twice as many people in it than Alpine's capacity allows.
