75 pages for the concert that never was....

get over it, hes not comming, stop posting, talk about shows that are actually happening, like the great tailgate party at greatwoods in June, he likes us more which cearly means we have a better tailgate party. dont complain about it just go see him in chicago.

(none of that should be taken seriously, i agree he should play there this summer but maybe responses to that post will push this thread over 100 pages)

By the way, as much as I want an Alpine show, I would like to quickly slap those still holding out for July 30th with a dose of reality...

Do you really think the band is going to play July 30th at Alpine when they have no other scheduled shows for 5 weeks before or 3 weeks after? Play just one big show and then go back on vacation?

If you think there will be another entire tour segment announced, why have we had no rumors except Alpine???

The last date left is for Saturday, Sep 10th.....that's our only chance. Jimmy can enjoy a week in Chicago and then come to Alpine to warp up the summer tour.

Seriously, Sep 10th is perfect......something needs to be done, Alpine and Jimmy needs to step in to ensure an Alpine concert.

Look at Alpine's schedule, it's May 9th and it'schedule is pathetic.....http://www.alpinevalleymusic.com/events.asp

Alpine really needs Jimmy and in a small, small, way, Jimmy needs Alpine.

Wrigley is sold out and a non-issue.

I've seen nothing confirmed that they are to be the only venue and why would Wrigley block a concert that would TAKE PLACE AFTER THEIR SHOWS?

standard contract that could say no shows within so many miles
and for so many days either before or after

I am not in anyway saying this is what the reason is

At least we won't have to waste a few hours after the show this year waiting to get out......

Anyone got some positive ideas on what 35,000+ of us could do with that extra two hours of our lives?

It equals about 8 years for one person....so if I add up all of the shows I've been to at Alpine I guess it really does have a life of its own!
