Alpine really needs Jimmy
At least we won't have to waste a few hours after the show this year waiting to get out...... :-?

Anyone got some positive ideas on what 35,000+ of us could do with that extra two hours of our lives?

It equals about 8 years for one person....so if I add up all of the shows I've been to at Alpine I guess it really does have a life of its own! :pirate:

Everyone can invade Antioch, IL on Fri 7/29... the Beach Bum Band is playing the Streetfest band shell!

I was looking at Alpine's site to see if they listed Coldplay yet and I noticed that there are people arguing whether or not Jimmy is still coming there. There are actually 3 different threads!

Crazy

OK Tiki-more details. Is this typically a drunken bash with no where to park and tons of cops or a mild-mannered, fun-loving family event complete with a ferris wheel?

Parking can be a bit tricky, but the town is small enough that you can park and walk, and it'll only take a couple minutes...

I don't recall a ferris wheel, but it is family oriented... and there is a beer tent and food vendors and bingo (I think) and such... but unless I'm mistaken, you can pack your own picnic and cooler too! :D

What about somewhere in between? A fun-loving drunken family oriented bash?

Oh wait - that would be Alpine. :D :D :D
