And for anyone still wondering what to do to fill the void this weekend, come to the band shell in downtown Antioch Friday night at 7:00 to see Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band!

They've played with Jimmy, and they've played the plaza stages at both Alpine and Tinley for Buffett shows... you'll have a blast!!

I posted this earlier in the Oar House while talking about my new car buying experience tonight..... I thought this thread would appreciate it!

My car salesman...Steve... is from Wisconsin.. He sees my license plate holder from Margaritaville Jamaica and asks if I am a Buffett fan. He then proceeds to WHINE about Jimmy not playing Alpine this year. I wanted to smack him!

Enuf I say.... Enuf!

I asked him how long he has lived in FL. He says 4 yrs... I tell him to GET OVER ALPINE!

I FIGURED JUMMY WOULD PLAY AT ALPINE JULY 30 BUT I HAVE JUST HEARD THAT THERE WAS A PRIVATE PARTY ON LAKE GENEVA LAST NIGHT WITH PIRATE SHIPS OUT FRONT, MIKE MYERS DRESSED UP AS AUSTIN POWERS MC'ING AND SOME FAMILIAR TUNES COMING FROM THIS $8MILLION PARTY.
