Wouldn't it be best to get tix just in case, knowing you can easily get rid of them if you don't get the time off?
The chances of me being able to change my calendar right now with the Calendar nazi are slim and none, especially since I had to take this extra week due to weather and family issues. I'd have a better chance of seeing a show up north where I live, but it looks like we're gonna get screwed again. :-?

And I'm not so sure it is as easy to dump tickets as it used to be, especially since they have gotten more expensive.

But you still have like 10 days or so when the real onsale happens. Could you know by then? It's a shame to miss Jimmy over something like that.

Couldn't you hire a thubstituthe while you were away?
I don't get a thubstitute, they go without. :-?

I just don't see a SoCal show happening...especially on a Thursday. What was he thinking? And with my luck IF we get a NorCal show it will probably be on a Tuesday.

Wow, Anaheim in April.....interesting. Hopefully he'll be back in Sept/Oct on another west coast swing, and it'll be Irvine instead of The Pond. Still haven't seen a show there! :-?
We used to laugh at Grandpa when he'd head off and go fishing. But we wouldn't
be laughing that evening when he'd come back with some whore he picked up in
town.

What I hear Irvine is a goner...something about the trash left in the lot and who should pay for the clean up....Just a what I heard..have no idea if there is any truth to it but time will tell!!!!

Well that sux......I saw Pearl Jam there a few years back, and had tix to the show that was canceled in 2003. Too much trash? That's a pretty lame excuse if it's true.

The past 5 years or so have been REAL bad in Irvine's lot. That would not surprise me at all. After the 2003 show, all you could hear was breaking glass as people were leaving the parking lot.

I'm not sure Irvine could be worse than Camden, but it sure sounds like a close second. Who'd a thunk that parrotheads could be such pigs? Is it that difficult to bag up your garbage?

Seriously! Our group's trash has always found a garbage can right before we head into the show. A good tip to minimize your trash - get a pony keg instead of 100 bottles of beer. Worked real good at Coors last year, except when it was tapped at 6pm. Oh well, I probably didn't need another drink anyways

Yeah, I'd believe that. And I don't know if Irvine is like Camden, where they put exactly 2 dumpsters at the farthest place away. But before we went over for the show we at least bagged up our trash and bottles and put them out of the way. I swore that if I went back to Camden I would bring a big push broom to sweep a path for the BN caravan...and sing "It's my job, to be cleaning up this mess..."

Driving over broken glass is a horrible sound, especially that much glass. :o

HAHA What a year for them Trojans! Had season tickets, and got some tix for the UCLA game @ the Rose Bowl. Had a great kegger for the Orange Bowl, rented a big screen. Too bad it wasn't much of a game. Already got season tix for next year(b-day present for Dad in February) Will Leinart declare for the draft? I doubt it. I hope not, because Booty or the freshman Mark Sanchez obviously wouldn't be as good as him. The Dynasty has begun!

FIGHT ON!

Another big problem at Irvine was there were several people (college aged) parked near me there for the party only. There were not interested in going to see the show at all. IN fact on stated they didn't like Buffett at all! They got drunk and very obnoxious....well except for the strip tease on the hood of the pickup.....anyway...these people were blasting Metalica music and creating more problems than anything else
