Too bad the tix aren't available anymore......do you think they will be again sometime in the presale?

They don't go on-sale till 3 pm. I just got the same e-mail as LB. Password is CORAL....good luck parrotheads

Oh OK, thanks. The fastest clickers in the west will be the ones with the tickets, huh?

The problem is those in the BAG after the concert.. last few years been really bad like Glen said....really bad
Yeah, I'd believe that. And I don't know if Irvine is like Camden, where they put exactly 2 dumpsters at the farthest place away. But before we went over for the show we at least bagged up our trash and bottles and put them out of the way. I swore that if I went back to Camden I would bring a big push broom to sweep a path for the BN caravan...and sing "It's my job, to be cleaning up this mess..."

Driving over broken glass is a horrible sound, especially that much glass. :o
Last Novemeber in Orlando, there was a guy roaming up and down through the parking lot pushing a giant dumpster to help avoid this problem. First time I ever saw that and it certainly made a lot of sense.
I've got coastal confessions and a few more, how about you?

Just think though Kathy. He's in Vegas the week after this show. All hope is not lost!

Actually 2 days later....mewonders if Jimmy can give me a ride there?
Opps crusty. I meant "weekend" not week. Just give jimmy a call. I'm sure he'd oblige you.

I see less of a chance of Vegas happening...it is just way too expensive and I am still trying to recover from the two shows in Oct. :o :o :o

I think my best chance might be one of the FL shows, if somehow I can find cheap airfare and flights that dont' take 24 hours to get there. Hopefully someone will get extra tix...just in case. And maybe my bro will feel generous and cough up a frequent flyer ticket for me! Right now the Tampa show is best for ticket prices...but that means I'd be at a show with my little bro...and Cuervo! My two future employess...this could be interesting. :wench:

Last January, the pre-sale at the Pond was restricted to the High-end $$ tickets only. I'm afraid "Schmucks" like me that would rather spend less per show and see more shows will have to wait to the 24th. I'll see 3 shows for the cost of one of those seats. I got lucky last Oct in San Diego to sit in row 13 at a reasonable cost....but mostly, its the cheap seats for me.

I haven't waded through the five pages of posts, but I bought pre-sale Anaheim tickets last year, and I didn't think they were worth the extra $$...

they weren't floor, but halfway up the first section at about "center ice".... it took away the stress of "TICKETS GO ON SALE AT 10:00" but that's about it. I wouldn't buy presale again, I have to say.....

If Irvine was anything like Camden and Great Woods, it was horrible.... we should be ashamed of ourselves, and it's our own damned fault if we lose venues for being pigs.... how hard is it to bag your trash, really? :-?

(that having been said, I suspect that most of the folks who frequent this board aren't the ones leaving a mess behind....)

The biggest problem with Irvine is those who don't even go to the show. It would s*** to have to do it....but this is one venue that really should check tickets to enter the parking lot. There were more and more people every year who would come in there, blare rap music, drink cheap beer, and than leave when the concert started (usually leaving tons of trash behind).

However, I really don't think the trash problem is preventing a future Irvine appearance.....remember, his last scheduled show there was cancelled due to the unfortunate passing of his mother. If the trash issue was deemed to be so bad that they wouldn't have him back....this show wouldn't have even been scheduled.

The problem at Irvine had nothing to do with Parrotheads. While the concerts were going on there were thousands of drunk kids (with no tickets in the first place) puking, throwing bottles, breaking mirrors off cars, etc. Lots of arrests at the last show too. Anyone remember the guy with the chimpanzee's? Highly illegal in this state.

No kiddin a chimp? it is not the parrotheads, it is as everyone says, the younger crowd simply leaps before looking and gives us all a bad name.
Dean I think the contract with the Pond is different then with Irvine. Like I said, I dunno if its true but if I were Jimmy and could go to another venue holding about the same amout of pholks without the associated "trash" headache/cost I would move

we don't even have this excuse at GW; they check tickets... sure, some get in without them, but for the most part, it's "us" leaving the mess behind.... :-?

so does everyone think they are going to pop the event back out on to TM as 6PM EST or was this just a mistake? Why would they e-mail a password out if the event was not going on sale?
Stood up and tried to focus,
I hoped I wouldn't have to look far.
I knew I could use a Bloody Mary,
So I stumbled next door to the bar.

I don't know. That is weird. I just went in to TM and the event isn't listed again. Odd.

Is BN time about the same as TM time? You would think that the page would at least come up tho.
