This couldn't possibly be the star that sells out shows everywhere and makes all of us women scream when he takes the stage.

Image is everything...
Just what is his image?

Seriously... you never see him (along with a ton of other country males) without a hat - either cowboy or baseball. If he had the cajones to go hatless for a year, do you think he would be as popular?
One should have nothing to do with the other, but sadly, I think it would in his case. I think he for one is dependent on that image.
(By the way - I have nothing against the guy... I like his music, but have never been able to look at him for some reason - as much as I try, omething about him repels me.)

I think I like him
better that way.
Looks less punk-like and more mature
than his usual image.
This one has a "Bruce Willis" quality...
And a smile would help...
maybe

(Is this an attempt at beefcake, I wonder...)
It's nice to finally know what the purpose of that omnipresent hat is!
(But he still annoys me, even though I enjoy his work.)
Think if he copied Bubba some
more and went with the hairless,
bespeckled look he'd be as successful?

I think he's cute too. But then I kind of like nerdy guys. And we know he can pull off sexy when it's called for too.

um, if you seen his video of "How Forever Feels" (the song where he mentions Buffett) then you've already seen him without his hat, and with a little more belly.

A-ha!!! Another reason why I find him utterly repulsive.
