Hey guys glad to see you on the boards. We will get more details later.

Hey ... Please read my thread on the off topic board: "Suggestions Please", about my dear old orange cat Henry. He still searches for Jp, and that's the reason he is in this mess now ... he was prowling under JP's Porsche, and found himself in a pan of oil. He's going through many dunkings of Dawn, and apologies from me. He's being very docile about the whole ordeal .. guess he knows that this must happen, but it breaks my heart ... Prayers for Henry please!

I don't know anything about cats, but my heart goes out to you!

Do they allow tailgating at the Pavillion?? If so, anyone doing it. My grown keets have never experienced a Parrothead Tailgate party before, unless you count the parties in Vegas.

There is no tailgating in the Shark Tank parking lot. In 2001 there were a few tailgate parties going on in the city parking lots across the street and the San Jose PD was pretty cool about it even tho it's against ordinance. People would just stick their adult beverages behind their backs as the men in blue would pass by and wave. Whether or not that will happen this year is anybody's guess.

There are a few bars within walking distance that throw parrothead parties, but most of them lack the atmosphere and are simply looking to cash in on your parrothead credit cards. Again the Tiki Bar invite is open, we are 10 minutes up the road from the Shark Tank, the party is from 12:00 to 5:00 with plans to go downtown to get properly lubricated before the show. Simply email us for the official invite, and directions. We will be sending it out as an evite the first week of March. Get your name on the list, we just need to know numbers so we have enough dead animal or plant material for the bbq.

Thanks for the info on the tailgating (or lack thereof) and a special thanks for the invite to the Tiki Bar. Sounds like a great time, but we probably won't roll in to San Jose until about 3-4Pm and have dinner reservations at 5, so we'll probably hit those bars on 2nd Street before the concert........or maybe we'll just have a tailgate party in the Arena Hotel parking lot !!!!!

Where's the place to be after the concert....assuming we're still ambulatory?

Last year we had a good sized group hangin' out in the hotel (Arena)....between different rooms....someone had a suite which was where we were most of the time. Then we scattered and a few of us went to a bar kinda close to the Shark Tank........I have no clue what it was called......as the last thing before the show. Then back to the Arena for post-concert activities. :D Of course that was last year.............
