Hopefully you are referring to the jello shots and not what the aforementioned bear is doing in the woods. :o

Lou's Village is really Old School. Cool place, but really not that great.

Last January for the show people pre-partied downtown at Peggy Sue's, which is still beyond me...why they chose Peggy Sue's I'll never know, however I was down the street at Tres Gringos and it was perfect. Tons of Tequila and Margaritas. I wish more parrotheads would have shown up, the place was pretty empty (it was on a weeknight, though). It would be perfect for a PHHQ.

It is a great bar with an island theme. The bar has a big thatch roof and everything. Very "Buffettesque." It would be a great place for a pre-party, since the Tank doesn't allow tailgaiting. There are other bars downtown too that are more fun than Lou's, and all within walking distance of each other and the Tank.

Check out the website: http://www.tresgringossj.com

I will likely find somewhere outdoors to pre-party all day with my group, then post up at Tres Gringos until showtime.

All are welcome.

PS. If anyone has any information on why Jimmy doesn't play Shoreline anymore, I would love to know. Concerts at the Shark Tank make me want to puke...
Tres Gringos update:

I got an email from the bar manager saying they are talking to the distributors about becoming the official "Parrotheadquarters." If anyone has heard anything to the contrary, please let me know. Otherwise, send them some emails to show some demand....(website link above)...
Cause I like Cajun Martinis and playin' afternoon golf.

200 sq ft of paradise. Seats 18 - 24. Large BBQ Island 3/4 covered thatch roof 18' Palm Tree growing out of the middle of it soon to come a bar/sink/ice bin/ refridgerator island w/ bar stools it will not cut down on current seating space. Started out to redo the patio and build a small deck, $7,000.00 later I end up relandscaping the entire backyard and this Tiki Bar just happened to appear. Better news -- Marriage is still intact

jimmy not playing shoreline, may be nothing more than it being too cold in april for an outdoor show. on the other hand he may be disagreable to clear channel's management practices.
of course, this is speculation on my part. perhaps jimmy will schedule more west coast shows in october and then include shoreline. and wouldn't it be nice he he made a return visit to the concord pavillion and also add the amphitheater in marysville, or arco areana in sacto. or even sbc park in san francisco. springsteen did it, why not jimmy.
