no sweat. I sat back there last year at FLL, and it was kinda cool. almost like being backstage. and the view for "Fins" is awesome.

And I presume there will be a big screen facing backwards, like there was at FLL last year. Plus, I'm also hoping the "indoor lawn" gets an after-intermission treat facing our way.

The choice in my price range was 11 rows from the stage, or up in the nose-bleed stratosphere, so I'm kinda liking where I landed.

Haven't heard anything about a Mac show yet...when do you leave?

I leave Sunday morning at 6AM. Taking the great circle route.....

Fairly reliable source says no Mac show.

(Hope this turns out to be wrong, but I doubt it. )

Some of you may know this, but there is absolutely no tailgaiting allowed at the Shark tank or in nearby adjacent parks in San Jose. In an almost 11th hour effort, we got in touch with some sources at the Tank yesterday, and they said San Jose's "No open flame, no open container" policy will be in full effect for the show.

Further, in my communication with Tres Gringos, which has been difficult, the most current update is that are having a private party hosted by Bartons (corona, pacifico, modelo, etc). I'm working on finding out more, I find it hard to believe myself. In fact, I was the one that emailed them with the idea to contact Barton's in the first place. I will post as soon as I find out official details, and if and how we can get on the guest list.

I know someone who owns a building and parking lot in downtown adjacent to some bars, so it is not out of the question we may set up a tailgate there, stay tuned...

Does anyone know if a mini tailgate is possible at the Arena Hotel for those of us staying there (and guests of course!

)?

Last year PoolBoyBob had a suite and we all sorta mingled there.....I know a lot of us are staying there....it'll be a good starting point and we can play it by ear from there!

When will you be arriving? Myself and a few others will be there on Friday so we'll be able to scope something out hopefully!

For those on the Tiki Bar Evite list. We have updated the evite, and the Tiki Bar will be open from Noon to 5pm as we will be heading downtown SJ at 5pm to catch the local pre parties at hotels/bars. We are only 10 minutes from the Shark Tank. Looking forward to seeing you all at the Tiki Bar.
