I'm coming with a group and we are ready to par-tay! So where, when, how...actually I have the "how" part down - it's the WHERE and WHEN that I need!

Thanks!

P.S. We only live 15 minutes away, but still got a hotel room b/c we plan on being there ALL DAY!!! So we're startin' early!
Hey neighbor, we only live 15 minutes away and our backyard Tiki Bar will be rockin' from 12 - 5 and then we are heading down to SJ for the parties at Tres Gringos, and Ruby's. If you want the evite, it's not too late. We are in Sunnyvale just off the 101.

Home again....miss you guys already! And some of you I missed completely...where the heck were you? :o :-?

Another great BN weekend...great show....great friends....great weather, what more could you ask for?

I probably pushed it a bit too much with my leg (incompetent doesn't even begin to describe The Arena's staff...so more walking than I had planned on) and I'm feeling it today. But it was sooooo worth it. And my cast was VERY festive...I decorated it with stickers and my lei from the Balcony Girls and got gazillions of compliments. I'm sure if would have made Parrotvision, had we ever found it.

Thank you to the BN crew for making this possible for me...you all took such good care of me every step (or hobble) of the way. I didn't have to do a thing, you were all always right there to help out...and to tell me to knock if off when I was trying to be too independent.

Jen to the right, Jen to the Left, Wayne, Lynn, John, Nikki, Corey, PBB, JoJo, Norcal, RumPunch, Ray, Donnie, Cowboy..(.God I hope I'm not forgetting anyone but I am soooo braindead...3 hours of sleep doesn't cut it. :o  ) it was soooo awesome to be celebrating with all of you and the extended BN family. Being with friends is the best part of the show....Jimmy is the icing on an already damn good cake!

And a big giant thank you hug to John for being my official wheelchair driver, concert mate and bud...I never had a doubt about my safety while with you and I hope you know how much I appreciated it. And remember....AQO'S not QAO'S.

And to all those Latitude 38 PHC lurkers....it was great meeting and talking to you and tailgating with you! I'll be seeing you soon, I'm sure. 8)

I think I need a nap...I'm sure I'll remember something or someone I forgot after I get some rest.

Oh, and Ray, thanks for calling and letting me know that your Uncle is doing well. I'm so glad the surgery went okay and I know everyone else will be too...I'll let you give them the details. Lots of Phin Power headed his way for a speedy, healthy recovery. :)

I'll have more to vent on this later, but they did not deal with a complete hostile drunk in my area that openly threatend and challenged them dozens of times.

I'm really upset with the purple coats and thier lack of dealing with the truly disorderly that ruined much of the show for many people around them.

I've got to run but I am going to raise some hell over this when I have a few minutes later.

well in section 120, there were a few mildy drunk and rowdy people and they were having a good time with in reason i thought. well sometime after the break, i guess somebody else was not having as much fun as he or they expected, because of those people. the even staffer never seemed to have a problem with them, but eventually the take no nonsense security pholks came along and moved them out.

i would also like to give a big phinz up to the event staffer, who was guarding the stairs to stage right.
when he could, he helped stray beach balls find their way back into the crowd.

Hello all and it was great to see everyone! I was so glad that the Arena Hotel had a mini tailgate! My daugter had a great time and is already talking about next year. For all those squirted (and you know who you are!), thanks for making Zoe's first JB experience a memorable one! I can't wait until I see ya all again! Take care!! 8) :)

PS: My vote for best jello shot was definately the Pineapple Coconut Rum! :pirate:

Wow, what a weekend! Emotions were flowing, and so was the booze. I was more restrained than usual because of my uncle's situation.

* For those who don't know, he had an aneurism that caused two hemorrhages in his brain. One was still bleeding a bit, and the surgeons were to attempt a procedure to correct this. We spent 8 hours waiting in the ICU waiting room at UCSF. The procedure was put off over and over again, but then when performed, went flawlessly. He is doing fine and in good spirits. One more procedure, and then up to three weeks in the hospital await him. He had a lot of support from his family, and from all of you who knew. For this, I thank you profusely. You are all Parrotheads of the finest feather.

At the urging of my family, I was told to go ahead and go to the show. That and the fact that we had so many people in the waiting room the nurses were fearing for their lives!

I went to the show, and the first thing I saw coming into San Jose and turning onto Alameda was a caravan of BN'ers led by the scariest looking bald Santa I ever saw! (especially for a Bronco fan, which prolly makes him the craziest Santa ever!) 8) Spotted BEG in her fancy chair, and Jen as well!

I brought two friends to SJ to take advantage of the tix the wife and I had spoken for (thanks again PepeT.Pirate!) So now I had to find a ticket. After about two minutes in front of the arena, scored Floor off a scalper for $50! (sat next to the guy he bought it off...him and his bud talked the whole time, and knew NONE of the songs! Oh, well. 8) )

Got in, and de-escalated a developing situation between...get this...A Chi-Sox fan and a Cubbie fan! They were gonna fight over friggin' baseball!! Morons.......

What a show!!!!!! Great set list!!!! The energy was unbelievable, Jimmy was on!!! Heck, everyone was on!! (side note: I hope Peter rides the wave with Jimmy til it's done...The man is super talented...as are all the CRB....I just hope he never thinks of jumping to 'greener pastures')

Headed to the Arena Hotel where I met you all. I will not even attempt to remember who all was there, because I KNOW I will leave someone out, and you are ALL equally important to me. Thank you again for your concern and support.

Headed back to the Travelodge, which was the scene of a very happening tailgate party in it's own right! Crashed out, and all was well!! I am very happy right now with both the good news and with getting to see all of you again (and Jimmyyyyyyyyyyy)

'Til we do it all again!!! 8)

Can someone please tell me what time zone I'm in? :o

*sigh* I'm home, too, and I miss all of you already. Thanks for taking in a stray, jet-lagged east coast BNer and making me feel at home.

Highlight? Easy.... SOASOAS to the indoor lawn.... I was sitting not 20 feet from Jimmy and Mac. :D :D :D

Can't wait for the next time!!!

:D Hey, Travelin' Man!!! So thrilled to find that you made it to the concert and that your uncle is doing so well! By now, John and Russell will have told you about our hookup! What a crackup........"look for the Corona bottle???"....huh?....."ooooh, the Corona bottle!!". Way funny! Anyway, when I pulled the Ticketmaster envelope out of my pocket, 3 people asked me if I was selling. So glad you scored a ticket. I was just going to call those guys and you when the Johnny Carson tribute started.

So e-mail me sometime when you and your sweetie come to Capitola....we can hang at Margaritaville, si? I know a "secret" weekend parking spot.

Fin power to your uncle, hope he's doing great,

So sorry I did not get to meet up with any of you guys-we spent time with a friend in town that I really needed to see, and so the preparties were not going to happen for me.

We were seated in the very last row of the arena (is that a nice way to treat someone who came 2000 miles?) and the sound really was awful for most of the show, but we had a great time anyway!

BEG-so sorry that I was one of those poops who did not get to meet you-I'll have to make it up to you somehow!

Back to the other life at the office. It was a nice weekend sharing the Buffett and BN'er experience with my grown up Keets and new friends. Sure enjoyed meeting y'all at the Arena and at the Shark Tank and the late night wrap-up. Thanks for the warm hospitality!

I hope someone will post the group photo from the Arena Parking lot.

I'm not sure the Purple Coats were focused on rowdy folks and drunks as the one in our section was seriously anal about cameras. My son and I nearly got tossed for taking a simple shot of our group.

Hope to see you all again at the next event whenever and wherever that will be!
