Best news I've heard all year. The weather should be here and beautiful .

I don't think that looks good for us Denver folks. I've noticed that Jimmy rarely plays both PHX and Denver in the same year.
If that's the case...luckily I have family in Phoenix that I think I just may have to visit around...say...the 12th of April

That's only 3 days after the Las Vegas show. I wonder how much it would cost to fly from NY to Vegas to Phoenix to NY?

I was thinking the same thing...only starting and finishing in Denver

Just did a quick search and I can do the trip on America West, all nonstop flights, for $353. But the return flight to NY gets in at 5:30 in the morning. I don't like to waste vacation days, but I'd have to take an extra day to do this trip. There's no way I'd be able to make it to work that day.

Than why not come in Thursday for Anaheim....than go to Vegas....than go home....you could easily do this and only miss work Thursday / Friday! No third vacation day necessary!

wuss.
did you check Southwest?

Southwest is about $325 but I'd have to fly out of Islip instead of JFK. That's a 40 mile drive from home, plus $9/day to park the car.

How long a drive is it from Vegas to Phoenix? I can fly Jet Blue from NY to Vegas and from Phoenix to NY (they don't fly from Vegas to Phoenix

) for $198.90.

For someone who's contemplating making a cross-country trip to see several Buffett shows in a row, this comment struck me as sort of funny.
See you all in Vegas in April!

Vegas to Phoenix is about 5-6 hours.....is not the most pleasant drive in the world....long stretches of it are just 2 lane highways which pass through some small towns.
Vegas to Anaheim is much easier and I'd have a spot if you wanted to carpool!

I think I'd drive the 40 miles and pay the $9 a day to park.... (nine bucks!!!

I pay fourteen a day at PVD!

)

Scratch that. I took a closer look, the return flight on Jet Blue gets back to NY at 7:30 in the morning.

I'm an old man, I need my rest.

southwest is dirt cheap between vegas and PHX. it's about 4.5 to 5 hr drive. it is not a drive to do at night since it is not freeway between PHX and vegas. we call a long stretch of the the road "the highway of death...."

I have to think about this, but right now I think I've been in the office too long today.
