I Love the 90's Part Deux

Post by Ilph »

Is anyone else watching this? I'm enjoying it, but it's still the early part of the decade. Once they hit about 98 and 99, I think I'll probably bail.

We're watching it but it's much too soon for a retrospective of the 90's.

I think some of the I Love The 70s, 80s, 90s, things s*** especially the commentators creating myths such as the jocks loved the Who and the stoners loved Zeppelin in the 70s. As I recall, everyone liked both bands. Regardless, three hours later I'll find myself still watching...

As for it being too soon to do a retrospective on the 90s you have to remember, before the 80s were even over MTV had a program hosted by Martha Quinn called Classic MTV. It's all about instant nostalgia these days it seems. Then again, it is 2005 already.

I can't stop watching it!!! It's flippin' hysterical!!!

I entered high school in 91 and graduated college in 99... therefore, it captures my very formative years... freaky, yet funny as hell!

I was really enjoying it unitll about '96. Then I think at that point I just had too much of the same thing overkill. Plus as mentioned above, alot of it does seem just yesterday. I want to see I love the 70's.

At any rate, in beats that fat celebs thing they have on. I actually had to fire off an email on that one. ( because VH1 cares so much what I have to say )

When it comes to absoultly worthless shows , the one with the fat celebs takes the cake....then again so do the celebs on the show! :D

What do I care that someone is overwieght and finnally doing something about it?

Something that I have found fun to watch recently is some bull riding compition show on CMT.

What?

Here... I'll count it out for you...

I entered high school in the school year 1991-1992, my sophomore year was 1992-1993, my junior year was 1993-1994, my senior year was 1994-1995... therefore I graduated high school in 1995. I enter college in the fall of 1995, my sophomore year was 1996-1997, my junior year was 1997-1998, my senior year was 1998-1999... I did my student teaching in the fall of 1999 and I graduated in December of 1999.
