Columbia,SC ticket info

Post by PHnSC »

Just a little info for anyone buying tickets for the Columbia show. Tickets CANNOT be purchased through ticketmaster. The Colonial Center has its own ticketing system. You can order off their website or by phone. Also tickets go on sale at 9am not at 10am on Saturday. Just thought I would help some, anyone need any other info feel free to ask.

Thanks. I know last year they sold through TM. BUT if you wanted wheelchair seating, you had to go through the ticket office. And just put in an order and you got whatever. We lucked out and got GREAT seats last year.

Thanks PHnSC...oh and i"ll see you and Spurrier in Athens

i got a confirmation email about the columbia pre-sale yesterday, and it said it would take 2 weeks to process, so theres no telling yet where the pre-sale tickets are going to be. It also stated that the orders will be processed in the order they were received. By the way, Bowden will own Spurrier....just like he owned Holtz, its good to be a Tiger!

Yep, that is what worried me last year. People were getting their tickets in the mail from TM, and we didn't get ours. We called the ticket office and said they would be sent out later. But it was worth the wait.

But I think you SHOULD have great seats, as not a lot of people know or do the preorder thing, not knowing were they will sit. Let us know where you end upgetting tickets. Bet you'll be happy with them.

Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to sell preorders if they gave out bad seats.

they better be good, i faxed in my order at 8:30 the morning that presales started, so i'm hoping for the floor, if not, the extra money that it cost for the presale tickets will be pointless

I called the Colonial Center yesterday. The girl I spoke with said the pre-order tickets are for the most part in sections 104,105,106,113,114,115. Very few on the floor according to her so she said she has not been guaranteeing ANYONE floor seats. The sections she spoke of are really good seats though.

Also, the $91 (+$5 surcharge), so $96 pre sale ticket also includes admission to the pre part starting at 6:30 in the Frank MacGuire room inside the arena overlooking the stage. It includes food, beer and wine and the Rum Punch Bandits playing live...

Stood up and tried to focus,
I hoped I wouldn't have to look far.
I knew I could use a Bloody Mary,
So I stumbled next door to the bar.

Do you happen to know which seating arrangement will be used for the concert? I'm wanting to look at the seating charts to get an idea of which seats will be better than others.

Could you post the phone number(s) and any other helpful hints to getting tickets? I'm not interested in the pre-sale, just the regular tickets. And do you know how much the regular tickets will be?

that $96 fee for the presale tickets does NOT include admission to the pre-party, that is an extra $40. The email that I got last night detailed that if you wanted tickets to this, there was still time to get them, but that the pre-sale tickets did not already include the party.

I wonder how much the "convenience charge or service charge" is going to be per ticket?

I was wondering the same thing, so I selected tickets to Elton and Rascal Flatts to see what the charge was. One came up with a "Fac Fee" of $2 and "Conv Fee" of $7.75. The other had $2 and $6.50. I would guess that the charge will be somewhere in this area.

I was told yesterday also that the pre sale tickets are going to be very good seats, and for me not to worry. Just remember that the tickets go on sale Sat. and 9am and not 10am. A little different than TM. They got rid of TM because of the crazy charges. I have ordered a few times from the Colonial Center and the charges have been a little bit cheaper than TM. Good luck to everyone, and I will see my Bulldog friend in Athens this year for the game.

Presale ticket problems:

Post by scparrthd »

For anyone who faxed in a order for presale tickets, and has not received an email confirmation, contact the Colonial Center asap. Apparently their fax machine may have run out of paper at the start of the presale. You will need proof that you transmitted to their fax number during that time.
