It is so sad-I remember him from his game show days (whom do you trust) and remember telling my parents about him and who he was when he was named host of the Tonight Show).

He will be missed so much.

This is a sad day for all of us. . . I met him one time at the Chart House in Malibu.

Thanks for introducing us to so many of our favorite celebrities, singers and comedians. I remember crying with my mom as we watched Bette Midler sing "One For My Baby" to (and with) him on the second to last show in 1992.
He once said that he would like his epitaph to be, "I'll be right back." What a showman.

You were one of a kind. Thanks, and rest well.
