Ok, now I'm going to throw my 'scoop' into the mix (who knows who is right anymore..) I just spoke to the girl at a hotel in Delavan,WI, which is 10min. away from Alpine. She said that this morning she came in and there was a note hung up saying that Jimmy was playing July 30. She wasn't sure where the info came from or if it was correct, but thought I'd throw I'd throw it out there!

My guess is that outside speculation caused a mini-rush on securing rooms at that hotel, therefore giving reason for hotel employees to assume the concert date is the 30th as well.

Her boss heard from the semi-pro scalpers who jump onto BN to get the scoop and use lines like "Hey I bought tickets to the wrong show, anyone want to by these!!! oh yeah uhmmm there 100 over face"

Well, I hope it is the 9th personally... come on...don't you want some down time before going to the Keys? speaking from experience, going from Vegas to the Keys back-to-back in november was NOT easy!

I'll repeat what I said earlier...the person I know at Alpine has told me that the date is STILL UP IN THE AIR!!!!!! Jimmy's people have 6 dates to decide between, they'll choose based on the logistics with the rest of the tour. Alpine is holding those dates for him, though. Anyone at this point saying that they "KNOW" that the date is the 30th, or anything else is wrong. It may be the 30th, but it isn't booked yet.
