From ryan-adams.com:
Cold Roses, a double album with his current backing band, the Cardinals, due April 19,
Jacksonville and
29. Since no release dates are listed next to the other two albums I'm guessing they haven't been set yet. For more info check

"got my first set of six strings, bought it at the five and dime"

Seriously I'll have to give him a listen and see what the fuss is all about.

And thank goodness he was one of the few artists that didn't bow to political correctness in the days following September 11th by removing the Twin Towers from the video. In some cases that might have been the right thing to do but I think leaving them in made that video all the more poignant. I'm not exactly sure how widely that it got played but in all fairness that wasn't his first exposure to the mainstream. He recorded three well recieved albums with Whiskeytown that led to an appearance on Austin City Limits and an opening on John Fogerty's tour. Ryan's first solo album,
Heartbreaker was also very well recieved and he's made frequent appearances over the last few years on Letterman and Leno and has apppeared once on SNL. Household name? No, but I think there's quite a few people out there that have heard him outside of the NY, NY video.

I've never really caught on as to why his music is as popular as it is...as soon as I hear him on the radio, it's time to hit Preset #2. But that's the beauty of it...to each his/her own..

Do ya'll just listen to Buffett and nothing else? I mean Ryan Adams isn't the most popular singer in the world, but you still would have to reside under a rock not to have heard of him!
