It's friday night and I'm sipping a Corona and sitting in khakis and a blue flowered shirt. Why? Because today at the school I student teach at was Hawaiian Beach Day. So our class all day had the Parakeet album and a CD of appropriate Buffett songs (hand picked by me) playing all day. It was a fun day at school today.

I wouldn't mind being on the beach right now. It is too cold here in Indiana.

Should have joined me today, went twice: http://homepage.mac.com/cowboyjunkie/PhotoAlbum32.html

Really gave Far Side of the World a good spin today. Better than I remembered it. Maybe it's time to dust off Beach House....

It turned out pretty good! We even had an impromptu limbo contest at latchkey after school. I think every Friday should be like that.

I remember when you were collecting song ideas for this; glad to hear it went well and all had fun. You should have asked for a chaperone or two so some of us could have joined in the fun! 8)

I teach third grade. We do all the subjects. I'm finishing up an unit on government and in a week we start on ponds and rivers, along with the usual math, reading and writing.
