Tampa?
We are escaping this nasty NJ weather to see Jimmy in Tampa. Our travel books are old and would like suggestions on good eats: seafood, italian & mexican. Also, where is the best beach? Thanks for your help.

fort desoto is a great beach no doubt about it, but the action is at clearwater beach, its relaxed but there is more people there if thats what your looking for. go to frenchys on the beach and grab a bowl of she-crab soup and some fish tacos. nice places to eat, try St. Larrys behind the wing house on US 19 in palm harbor. actually go to the wing house first and grab some beers and enjoy the scenery, 10 times better than hooters.
