I took a friend of mine to his first JB concert three years ago. At the time, he was pretty much only familiar with the SYKBH. But, he loved it and has since really gotten into JB and has gone with me to two more concerts. He was really disappointed last year that he couldn't go with me on a day that he had to work.

Well, to make a short story long, last year, when Mac's tour dates came out, Mac was coming here. Well, this friend called me and said, "Hey, did you hear that Rand McNally is playing here next month?"

I instantly knew who he was talking about, and I chuckled, and I said, "Who?" After I messed with him for a little while and made a few jokes about the atlas man going on a world tour  , I told him what Mac's actual name was. But, hey I give him credit: Three years ago, he never would have known who Mac was! :D

Downloaded "I love this town" just a few minutes ago. I love it!! Absolutely catchy. Well worth the 99 cents!!! Nanci sounds far better than she did on LTC with Jimmy. This song is going to spend a couple of days at the top of my iPod's playlist. (The 30 second snippet does not do this song justice).

I love the McAnally duo!

Mac and Nanci did a duet of "Gulf Coast Highway" on a past album that was great. Their voices blend well.
