I saw Garth with Trisha Yearwood back in 1991. He was just releasing the second cd and I didn't really know much about him. Some girls in the dorm at FSU were crazy for him though and drunk girls are great. After the show, we were able to meet him at the tour bus around back. The girls were going nuts and when they went to take a picture, they realized they were out of film. He graciously offered to wait for them and hung outside the bus while they ran to the Suwanee Swiftee. Really nice guy. Saw him again a few tours later and it was crazy how the fans loved him.

They may be high energy but they're another one of those bands that just don't know when to go away.

By the way, I was a big Kiss fan when I was younger and they were one of the first concerts I ever attended. It was definitely an experience I'll never forget but to see them out there now playing the same exact set list every night and Gene Simmons making no secret that they're only in for the money is kinda sad to see.
