Which Buffett book would recommend?
I am getting closer to my trip down to Jamiaca and I need some reading material for some of the down time which will be very little. Basically, for the flights and sitting on the beach one or two days. The wedding and all the water sports will keep me busy, but I will need to get away from it all for a little while.
I haven't read any of his books yet. I know all of you gasped at this poser on BN. I just haven't been able to get around to it yet. It is totally my fault, but I am here to make ammends to all you true PH.
Thanks for the help.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to
fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Well, Altered boy, if it is vacation - I'd recommend Tales from Margaritaville.
It is ideally suited for trips and waiting rooms - the short story / novella format is perfect - it takes you to the sun and the sand, but you don't have to wait till you get more time (like after you get home) to reach resolution!
I have a paperback copy that goes with me on all business trips and another that goes to all Dr visits with me....
And if you take this book, you MUST take Off to See the Lizard too.... They go together!

They're all good. TOM is great for short reads, WIJM and ASPOL are great escape stories, and APLA50 is a great travelogue/picture into the person. You've got some reading to do!!!
(And this is without getting into Trouble Dolls or Jolly Mon....)

A Pirate Looks at 50.
Hands down, no question. Great intro/background on Jimmy and will make some of his other stuff more interesting because you'll catch all the inside jokes, cryptic references, etc. etc. etc.
Enjoy the vacation.

Well, since I have them all, I can honestly say I enjoyed reading Trouble Dolls to my Mollie as much as any of the grown up books. Joe Merchant is my favorite. ASPOL is still sitting on the coffee table.
It took me over a year to get thru APLAF. Hey, I'm a busy girl, but any of them would be worth taking.
