That's just the thing, carolinagirl and I have never met, much less exchanged messages. Well, until just now, so your "friend" thing doesn't work. One of the things that gets me personally is that Jah dosn't
seem to want anyone to like him and brings many of these
problems on himself (note: that is my opinion nothing else)

I have tried in the past to get on good terms with him,
but finally had to quit trying.

Another thing is that Jah is quite guilty (again my opinion) of
many of the very actions he accuses others of. He is very fast
to throw his two cents in into a thread where people just want
to discuss a band or artist they like. Now he is entitled to his
opinion of these bands and artist just as everyone else is.
However is it necessary for him to post his dislike on an artist
on every thread about that artist. We know he dosn't like particular
artists or bands. Why can't we discuss them without negativity at
least once in a while?

Do you think for a second I could start a thread about a band I like and realistically believe no one would voice their opposing opinion? No, I don't. I don't know about you, but I enjoy hearing from people that both like and dislike a particular band or artist. If I wanted to hear nothing but one side I'd go read their press release.

That phrase in itself is an insult because you are in fact not only calling yourself and ass you are calling someone else an ass. By your correcting me and quoting the correct phrase you are still uttering the insult. You could have just ignored it and let it slide - but you couldn't do that.

If correcting her is considering throwing an insult then I'm guilty as charged but that wasn't what I wasn't what I was doing and the both of you know I wasn't. If I wanted to insult her, believe you me, I would have made that abundantly clear. Look up the saying about the word "assume" again and the word "not" is most definitely not included.

I guess you're just going to have to get used to it then because I can voice my opinion just as others voice theirs. Funny what works for them doesn't work for me. I don't think I ever recall reading one ill word about the Drive-By Truckers here.

Here's something you keep ignoring. How about those that go into threads I've started and make posts that have absolutely nothing to add to them other than insults directed at me? Funny how you keep leaving that aspect of things out. If that isn't enough, how about when people steal someone's avatar knowing ahead of time it's only going to add fuel to the fire? Even better yet are those that choose a name very close to "Jahfin" and then post so people will think it's me? It must be nice to go through life with only one view of things but fortunately there are those of us that not only like to hear both sides but also encourage it. If there's a message board out there devoted to an artist that doesn't allow opposing viewpoints to anything, I've yet to see it. I'm sure if some of you could have your way, that's what you'd like to turn BN into but thank goodness that's not the case.

What he says here, this has been my experience in reading Jahfin's posts. A LOT of other people behave the way he describes, and a couple of their friends seem to try to good-naturedly josh them into calling off the attacks.
