That's a tough question, and I need a liitle help along the way. Mrs Harbor makes the best margaritas, 1/3 fresh squeezed lime juice, 1/3 Triple Sec and 1/3 silver tequila, float some Grand Marnier man thats good. I make the worlds best mojitos, but I have a question about rum. I don't know a really good white rum to use. I hate Bacardi so I just get whatever, but I need a good one. Mostly I'm a beer guy, Pilsner Urquell, Sam Adams and Guiness in the cold months. Tecate, Dos Equis, and Corona in the warm months. They say Corona is brewed from water from a river that has an average of 7 bodies a week floating in it, and its not the best, but its always around and usually on sale somewhere, I'll have a case in Jax next week along with them killer Ritas.

Beer, Yuengling to be specific. America's oldest is America's best, since 1829!

I LLOOOVVVE rum but it does not love me :pirate: I still drink it on occasion but not often. Rum is one of those things that sneaks up on me. One minute I"m fine and the next I'm laying on the floor trying to figure out who knocked me down.
Tequila is my drink of choice. I absolutely cannot stand beer. I have be really hammered to even think of drinking beer.

1more wrote:Duuuuude.... Not sure where you are shopping, but I have found Herradura in a few state stores.

Now.. in order:

Tequila:

Sauza Commemorativo Anejo - oily, peppery goodness; Sauza Tres Generaciones - smoooooth... Patron Anejo - not bad, but not as good as the Commemorativo and twice the price Milagro Anejo - mmmmm, but can't find it in Central Ohio, and the store next to Denny's Latin Diner in Bayside was out... bastards.

Beer: Cheap - Amber Bock, Leinie's Creamy Dark, Heilemann's Black X
Moderate - hmmmm.. none in OH
Expensive - Newcastle Nut Brown, Guinness, Negra Modelo, Rogue River products.
Never on a bet (or even to keep from being on the receiving end of Shane's "attention" - Corona.

Rum:

Bacardi 8 year mixed with Pineapple juice, out of an Eddie Bauer 1 litre bottle 1:1 in KW; Bacardi 151 mixed 1:2 with pineapple juice for parking lot parties (guaranteed to make you miss the folks you are meeting by 30' or less)...
Well, I guess I'll have to schedule a road trip! The local state store (Mansfield) doesn't have Herradura. I might have to splurge for some of the others you mentioned (all excellent choices, by the way).

Tried a unique beer not long ago: Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA
(No, I'm not making it up!) I'm not usually a fan of IPA's but this one is great!

The State Store in Grandview/Columbus (5th Ave, just off Olentangy and next to the Original Mattress Factory store) has Herradura, as well as the others, and a bunch of other ones that I plan on trying at some point. They are also the only ones I know of carrying Middleton's Irish (which I need to pick up for storage against the time I need to throw a wake).

Nice thing about this is that they are pretty darn close to the parking lots at OSU, so the next time he plays the Schott... :D
