I'm sick. Not just sick, miserable-coughy-achy-phlegmy sick.

What's your cure for the common cold/might-be-flu?

I'm willing to try almost anything.

Honest to goodness, chicken soup and ibuprofen for the aches. Fluids, fluids, fluids and r-e-s-t, honey. Make Quint wait on you.

In reference to Zicam. It is good stuff. And so are Cold-eze zinc drops. The only catch...you have to start using it on the first onset of symtoms for best results.

Say....you can't catch anything on this thread, can you? :o

Lemon tea with honey always makes me feel better...helps me breathe, soothes my throat and cough and helps me get those much needed fluids.

Hope you feel better soon. :(

In addition to the aforementioned suggestions, a bloody mary made with the vitamins A, C, and E version of V8 Juice and enough Tabasco to make the pope swear never hastened my recovery....

all of the above suggestions, plus a hot bath, clean pjs, and getting into bed with clean sheets-just feels good!

Orange juice, vitamins, sleep, water, and stay the hell away from kids. I had that for two weeks. Everytime I got a little better, one of my students would cough or sneeze on me. At one point, I had a 102 temperature, so just remember, it could be worse! Now go get some rest.

Just dink some Everclear. No germ can stand against that!

I'll have to get myself some Zicam today. Quint and I are supposed to go buy our wedding bands today, so while I'm out, might as well make the best of it.

How sad is it that my shopping list is almost all cold-flu remedies?

throw in a shot or two before bed and sleep like a baby!!

But also if it dosn't go away in a few days go to the doctor. What started with a cold for me turned into 2 months of bronchitis and a broken rib from coughing. I could have avoided all that pain if I had gone to the doctor when I couldn't shake the cold in about a week.

Good plan. I've already got asthma, so I really don't need to go getting bronchitis... been there before, wasn't much fun.
