I haven't been registered as long as some of you, but I'm no chatterbox.
(Until recently I was more likely to post at CoB,O)
is there a 12-step program for lurkers?

This could be interesting for me........I don't post much and I found this place in 2001, I think. I am a BN'r though.
I plow thru threads everyday.
(yup, now that I look, it was 2001 right b4 Nissan)

Wow... You could be our winner... The earliest one with the fewest posts... But Magnus is not long after you with fewer posts... hmmmmm How to decide?
I guess it has to be PHJim coming in earlier with only 1004 posts! How can our fearless leader be our quietest lurker?

You have jogged my memory of finding this place.
I was VERY excited b4 another show at Nissan and thinking "There has to be some more info about Jimmy out there in the internet world". I was sitting on the floor at home with my laptop, late at night with a cold beverage. I went to my favorite search engine and typed Jimmy Buffett......BAM.....BuffettNews.com became part of my life.
I was looking for set lists, so I would have an idea of what he was playing that tour.
Wow, seems like a long time ago.

An admin always gets the benefit of the doubt on any questionable matters.
They are the reason we are here.
I love BuffettNews.
(thanx for reminding me of the memories)

I joined back in 2000 when there were only a few of us and it was known as the Sandbar.
Since then I've left, came back, re-registered a couple of times and lost my post count.
Remember, it's not the size of the post count but what you do with them.
yeah I know...that's what all guys with small post counts say

I don't think I'll win, but may place in the top 5.
If I had know 4 years ago there would have been a contest I would have posted less! I am VERY competitive

I think an important stat to look at is clicking on someone's profile to see what their average number of posts per day is. Elderflower is at 0.10....I am at .30, for example. I think this really gives a truer picture of posting activity, dontcha think?

Good idea, bubba phan... So it's EFAJ! Right?
At least we got some lurkers to add to their post counts....
Well, at least among those who posted in this thread...
