Looking at the latest email I've gotten from Margaritaville.com, I'd say its a pretty good bet that Jimmy'll play Wrigley this year. Look at this pic:

See the chicago cubs tshirt? I'd say thats a pretty good indication of him playing there...
Now if he'd only play Nashville!!!

Poptart 2010 Concerts Jimmy Buffett: Nashville | Barenaked Ladies: Louisville DMB: SPAC (2), Deer Creek (1,2), Alpine (1,2), Atlanta (Fall), Charleston, Cville (1,2)
The Buffett @ Wrigley show is set to go before the City Counsel in the next couple of weeks. Once its approved the show is a lock. The hard part was getting it through the neighborhood community, which is done. The show looks like a go!
There's absolutely no word on Tinley Park whatsoever, but naturally it does not make sense that he would play there since he's most likely going to succeed at getting 2 shows at Wrigley.

`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
Can somebody explain the volleyball??? I know he did the "Wilson" from "Castaway" thing on the Today Show last Feb, but what's the deal here? It doesn't have anything to do with the ASPOL book that I read. Or, perhaps he's just goofing off (a first ).
Wrigley!!! (Actually the pic is a great hedge -- no committment or guarantees but it sure gets the message across.)

I'm pretty sure he had a "Wilson" on stage with him during the concert season with the Tiki Gods (they are all running together at this point). Seem to remember him autographing it and chucking it into the crowd at one of the shows I was at, but not 100% sure, I was a tad "Impaired"
Yep, I remember something like that from the NYC show, too. I'm wondering about this particular volleyball (in the pic)...or maybe it's just one of his favorite props these days.

Lose Sosa, gain Buffett....good year in Wrigleyville!
Unless you like winning baseball!!!!
I haven't seen anyone from Baltimore cheering their acquisition; they know they've got one who became toxic to a team (and out of the discount bin, no less).

Unfortunately, it wasn't a discount to the Cubs. Actually, the O's season ticket purchases have considerably spiked. They're just happy to have anything that resembles a superstar on the team. Tejada is capable, but doesn't have that enigmatic personality that Sosa can have. They miss Ripken & will grasp at anything that resembles greatness.

Yup, and they'll probably mistake that whooooosh sound for a sea breeze when it's actually another swing and miss. I'm just glad we'll be substituting the "Sa" with a "Ji" (__mmy).
