Didn't think the Twins had the money, but they spent it anyways....Johan Santana 4 years, $40 million. Worth every penny. He'll win more Cy Young awards...the guy has the stuff to dominate.

Sid is an idiot, he'll probably lead with a question about Madonna. But I won't be able to listen to it, I can't get AM reception inside the building. It doesn't matter if I use my Walkman or the radio I have on my desk, I can only listen to FM.

SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) - Ken Griffey Jr. reported to the Cincinnati Reds' training camp on Monday, getting an early start on his latest comeback from a severe injury.

Despite being in the Cubs division, I would love to see Jr. & the Reds do well this year.

Holy crap... is it just me or does RJ look like he's about 85 in this pic!? I love the guy, but the Yanks were complete fools to sign him to more than one year... if he even makes it through the entire '05 season, I will be totally shocked.

I think he has a couple more left in him. He may miss some starts, but he will dominate when he is throwing

As long as the media keeps from jumping out of the deep and dreaded NYC bushes at him. He will have at least one stretch on the DL

Absolutely... 5 of the most recent 500 hr hitters are: McGwire, Sosa, Palmeiro, Bonds... and Griffey. Jr's the only one of the 5 that you could be confident that he wasn't juiced. :(

He has the same amount of solid cartilage in his knees as my 85 year old grandfather had before his bilateral knee replacements!
