Yeah, that's a call that should be reversedBottleofRum wrote:conched wrote:Is it almost time to break open the champagne?
Wow, that was eerily similar to 1986 World Series game 6, last inning, 2 run lead with 2 outs and no one on 2 strikes and then...... and Clemens was involved in both games.
Anyone find it funny that they names Lance Berkman Player of the game with 1 out in the 9th inning. Think they may want to change that now?
I know... I'm just guessing that plastic was up and champagne was ready to pop... until Pujols bat did!Ilph wrote:It ain't over till it's overTiki Bar wrote::rolling champagne back out of locker room:

The umpire that ejected Tony LaRussa and Jim Edmonds last night failed his umpire entrance exam ( I forget the name of it) THREE times, and was already fired from MLB umpiring once and rehired.

I think the umpires have been abyssmal all across the LCS's. That White Sox call was a train wreck.BottleofRum wrote:How soon we forgetIlph wrote:I know I'm probably harping on a subject that non one in this thread cares about, but the St. Louis Post Dispatch dug this up:
