I guess I'm the FRUITCAKES generation. We were sailing in Daytona and the one guy started playing Margaritaville on his guitar. It was just so appropriate for the laid-back day. My (ex)boyfriend started buying Jimmy's TAPES, we went to the first concert at the Starlake, and I haven't missed one since. 8)

"Margaritaville" generation here for music. First concert 1981, don't remember if parrotheads had be formed yet. By 1986? and the Floridays Tour we were in full force as Parrotheads and have 100%participation since then.
