I don't know, try asking nycparrothead and IsleReef. I'm just expressing an opinion, I can't help it if they don't agree and can't think of any other way to go about it than by resorting to namecalling and/or attempting to hijack others threads.

Ok, here's what I am seeing, but, I could be wrong, and I really don't require a reply, because it's my opinion.

Jah doesn't like to be labled, but he responded to a topic which is about LABELING yourself with a post about not wanting to be labled.

IsleReef & NYC express that being labled as these things isn't bad, and since it's a self-imposed lable, you can't complain if you are one.

I'm not getting into the middle of it, because I really don't have the time to babysit a website, and I need to get to work.

But we could all use a dose of getting along.

((hugs boys))

There's everyone gets a hug, everyone's happy because my boobs touched them.

It dosn't matter if you want to be labled or not. Everyone always wears a label of some sort or another throughout their lives. Be it simply the label of son, father, mother, daughter everyone is always labled. These labels change as we go thru school and then on thru life. Everyone is always labled.

You mean you weren't finished raking me over the coals. Read any of my posts, particularly in this region of the board and it shouldn't take you very long to figure that out. If you want me to save you some time, I'll give you the short answer. I'm a Jimmy Buffett fan. That's all you or anybody else really needs to know.

So, know are you ready for 20 questions?

Damn! I usually get stuck with this kind of label

I asked what I thought were 3 civil and reasonable questions. Asking questions seems to be the way that the rest of us have gotten to know each others and if you choose not to take part, it's fine with me. No, it is not apparent to me why you are here. I am finished and did not appreciate your presmptous attitude.

Nor did I appreciate the interrogative nature of your questions but I answered them. I've seen more than my fair share of visitors to this site say they no longer enjoy going to Buffett concerts (for a variety of reasons) and those that express dismay with the Parrothead label. Now, why don't you seek them out and interrogate them. Again, the reason I'm here is because I'm a Jimmy Buffett fan. Search the forums and you'll quickly find that out.

There's an old saying that goes something like this:

If you constantly have problems with everyone around you, it's less likely that the problem is everyone else and more likely that the problem is YOU!!

Come on folks, this was such an interesting thread before this back-and-forth junk started. :( :( :( Why does it matter that people have a difference of opinion or perspective? Just accept that it is and go forward without bashing each other... and quit taking the fun out of it for others. :-? :-? :-? Do moderators need to play the role of babysitters so things can stay civil and on topic?

(Sorry for this detour, but it just seems that some have lost focus on what the whole Buffett thing is all about...whether you're a parrothead or fan.)

OK. I'll start.

I became a Parrothead when I met my husband (then boyfriend) and he played Little Miss Magic for me and my (now our) daughter.
