POSTED: 6:45 am EST February 11, 2005

The benefit hopes to raise $4.5 million to buy a device called an intra-operative MRI machine for the Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth. A similar device helped doctors save the life of Roberts' 12-year-old daughter who had a brain tumor removed in 2002.
Brooks said the "Refuse to Lose" concert "is all about Dan Roberts and the daughter that he thought he would

Not me. I've been with Jimmy since the 70's. Don't think I'll be going anywhere.

I've always enjoyed Garth Brooks. I doubt he'll be coming out of retirement anytime soon. I don't know if there was anything left for Garth to do in country music. And I would hardly chastise anyone for coming out of retirement to help a charity(whether you like them or not).

GB's first MLB spring training was with the Padres in '98 or '99 to raise awareness and money for the Touch 'Em All Foundation.
