If I did not give a rats ass about any of the people here, I would just continue doing what I find funny................ I have been apart of some damn funny posts and maybe there are some issues when people start to whine, moan, b**** & cry......... I've been a member here for a few years and I want to get down to the root of what I have done that upsets and offends some of you................. Perhaps, lets just say perhaps, you went to a thread or a topic area and constantly see the same thing all the time, why can some of you voice or post a thread while some have the mods and the thin skinned come reigning down on you???????? I am still viewing this with an open and un-biased mind........... And Tiki, yeah I read back and feel otherwise at some people bickering at Connie for saying what she feels................ Peace on folks............. I do appreciate the constructive critisism in what ever form it comes in.................

vin,give it up man.i gave up caring about who gets easily offended and why a long time ago.you cant do anything about it and there is no point trying to figure it out.there are way too many people here and in the real world that are simply looking for a new way to be offended every day.might as well give them what they were looking for

Some will agree with me, some not. And that's ok.

Just like the discussion we seem to be having here. What one person thinks is funny, isn't to another person. And hey! That's FINE!

Where the problem lies is not judging someone's sense of humor, or level of being offended, but the content of some of the posts here.

On such a very public board such is this, especially knowing we have kids that post and read here, there should be some sort of 'common sense' regarding blatent obscene, derrogatory, or negative posts.

I'm going to go to the extreme here with what I'm trying to say..........

And let me say that I'm not saying you personally did this.. But what if there was someone here on the boards whose wife or daughter, or they themselves, were raped. Someone posted something they thought was humorous about rape. Wouldn't it be understandable that the joke wouldn't be all that funny?

That's a sample of what I'm trying to say. Whether it's about children, families, animals, sexual, personal, physical, mental, race, religion, or even humping monkeys

SOME THINGS ARE JUST NOT FUNNY TO EVERYONE. And a safe rule of thumb should be if you don't think your parents/grandparents or children should be reading or seeing it, then it probably shouldn't be posted.

And as a moderator on this board I will never waver from this perspective. That is how PHJim wants his website to be run.

It's not always the 'thin skin' of people, but how they were raised, their age, and how they currently live their lives. Morals, upbringing, and standards are always gonna be different.

I've said it a million times before, and I'll say it again.

It's all about common sense, courtesy, and respect.

Same could be said for those who continually push the boundries of common courtesy and respect. Just because you can say it does not mean you should or not be held responsible for your intent to perhaps disrupt an otherwise moderate discussion.
