my husband surprised me witha trip to Sandals Royal Bahaimian for my 40th last year...I am usually the one who books the vacations...but we had done a few of the Sandals and loved them all.
I liked the place a lot...the food was fairly good and had good choices. The grounds are well kept and it is right on the beach...2 large pools.
The rooms were not as updated as I like...they show wear and tear.
It is just a short cab ride(or walk) to a casino, which w went to just about every night.
The conveinience of the short travel is key!
I'd say go...don't think you'll be disapponited.

Sandals Resorts are great. My wife and I went to St Lucia for our honeymoon and spent a week at the Regency. Nice thing about the St Lucian Sandals is that you are able to "stay at one, play at three." You can spend time at their other 3 resorts on the island. The Sandals on Jamaica do this as well, but some resorts are quite a bit from each other.
One thing I like is that the scuba diving is included. If you have never gone they give you a resort certification, a nice way to get introduced to it with out the fear of spending lots of $$ and finding out you don't like it.
We would not hesitate to go back to Sandals again

We have gone to Sandals Montego Bay twice. There is so much to do at the resorts, there is no reason to leave. The only concern is which drink to start the morning off with! We are planning another vacation for 2007, but haven't decided which Sandals to go to! The staff pampers you and it is truely a relaxing vacation. We really like the fact that no one expects a tip and you don't need your wallet while you are there!
