My free ipod has been shipped! It's got a tracking number and according to the DHL website is in Indiana on it's way here!! Looks like this if for real!!!

Okay, so I got my freeipod the other day! YES THIS ACTUALLY WORKS!!!

I spend last night putting every Buffett album into my music library and have spent today with the headphones in and the setting on random.. Very cool to be able to listen to a random mix of over 250 JB tunes wherever you go!

You need to sign up under somebody's link to get started. Then you need to get 5 friends to sign up under you to get the ipod. You could post your link here and if others get interested they will sign up under you. I suppose I could sign up under you after I get my ipod if you signed up under mine. Am I right on this?

OCG is correct about the way it works. You must click a referral link to get started and complete an offer (make sure you don't have pop-ups disabled when you are doing this, or at least allow them for that site). Then you have to get 5 people to sign up under you and complete an offer. The key is getting the offer completed. However, the person who's referral link you used cannot reciprocate since you must sign up for a new account when you click a referral link and they don't allow multiple accounts on the same site. Hope this helps.

2. Accounts.

(a) Individual users may not create multiple accounts within our point-based sites. If you are a member of one point-based site, then you are automatically a member of all other points-based sites, and may login with the same user name and password as well as earn and spend points among all point-based sites. However, users are allowed to create a unique account with each referral-based site, as all of these sites are not linked together. Users are not allowed to have multiple accounts within a single referral-based site. All multiple accounts found to be fraudulent or which violate these Terms and Conditions will be placed on hold.

(b) Only one account is allowed per shipping address. We do this to ensure quality leads for our advertisers. Since we are 100% advertiser supported, we cannot afford to support multiple accounts at the same shipping address. If there is more than one user at a shipping address, we suggest that they share an account. All accounts which are found to contain shared shipping addresses will be placed on hold.

(c) A single user may not have multiple accounts at more than one shipping address. For example, a user may not have an account at a street address and a PO Box.

(d) A user may not use another person's name or information to receive products from this website. For example, one person may not join the site for another person, or complete offers for another person's account.

Another point of interest.. When you get your 5 people to complete an offer, freeipods will send you a confirmation email to confirm your e-mail address.. I did this 4 times and waited a month thinking they didn't send the e-mail.. Then I turned off all of my junk mail filters and it came through.. So also, make sure you disable junk mail filtering until you get that e-mail...

Regarding your question above, it can take up to a few weeks to receive your points. I think the BMG offers says that it could be 2-3 weeks before you receive credit. PM or email me if you have any questions.

One LAST question - do I need to wait until my offer credit shows up before I try to refer people to it? Cause it says I haven't met my requirements yet, so I didn't know if people could sign up under me - or the credit would get lost.

Offers that you actually have money taken out of your credit card immediately credit right awy, offers that you are applying for something take the longest.
For ex. I did the book club for which I paid a small fee at the time on my CC. However, if you applied for a CC you wouldn't get credit until you were approved for the CC. In fact if you weren't approved you would not get credit for that offer.

Each offer should have a pop-up explaining what you have to do and how long it will take to receive credit.

I think you can go ahead and start collecting referrals. Just make sure you copy & paste the link on your referral page. You are just waiting for BMG to notify Gratis saying that you ordered and paid for your cd and all the checks on their part on your account.
