If they were going to include a Meatloaf song it should have been Paradise By The Dashboard Light. And where's Love Stinks?

Now that's comedy gold I tell you. This sounds like something someone just made up. They grabbed some kid who remembers a little '80s music, but pays more attention to current "alternative rock" and gave him 10 minutes to come up with the top 25 love songs of all time.

No, not really. I honestly don't pay too much attention to any of these lists. Why do people keep making these lists?

A good portion of those songs are about getting dumped, cheated on or otherwise SC-REWED in a relationship.

Who's the liberal arts major who composed this list, and where can I find him to beat him up?!

I can't think too much of a list that doesn't include Barry White.

Yes, I also disagree with the list.

One thing though. Hasen't anyone realized yet that "8)" is the php code for the sunglasses smiley? It's just funny, every time someone posts a list, the same thing happens. If you want to put a "8)" in a post, be sure to disable smiles.

Not to be a jerk or anything, but it happends EVERY time a list appears here!

The February 18th issue of Entertainment Weekly has its own list of the 50 Greatest Love songs. Unfortunately, I can't find it on their website to share with all of you. But here are 1-10:

1. God Only Knows (The Beach Boys)

2. Can't Help Falling in Love with You (Elvis Presley)

3. Something (The Beatles)

4. (You Make Me Feel Like) a Natural Woman (Aretha Franklin)

5. Let's Stay Together (Al Green)

6. I Will Always Love You (Whitney Houston)

7. Wild Horse (The Rolling Stones

8. Sweet Child O' Mine (Guns N' Roses)

9. All I Want is You (U2)

10. In Your Eyes (Peter Gabriel)

That list is MUCH better!!! #1 is such an incredible song, you barely need to read the rest of the list... but I think As by Stevie Wonder should be on any top ten list of love songs.
