Hayseed Dixie originally started out as an AC/DC tribute band but then branched out. They had this whole story about how the only music in their hometown was bluegrass, and then one day a stranger came into town, got in a car accident, died, and someone discovered a bunch of AC/DC tapes in the car and started playing the songs with the instruments they had there (including a desk bell from the local hotel)

Mini Kiss or Little Kiss was the opening act for a show I went to see last summer. I didn't even get the connection until I saw them on stage.

They sang (not very well) to a backing track and were not very good at pretending to play their instruments.

My biggest fear is that when I die, my wife will sell all my Buffett stuff for what I said I paid for it!

Cover, parody, cover, parody..it's all the same isn't it, sort of, kinda? My hats off to this man...his "covers" of Eat It, Like a Surgeon, and Another One Rides The Bus will forever be etched in my mind. (Loved Mini-Kiss) :D :D
