What is your favorite job-search site?

I'm embarking on a job search for both hubby and me and wanted to see which search sites you like best.

So far my approach is to find the openings on the job-search sites, and then go directly to the company's Web site and submit my resume via the corporate portals.

I've also Googled the heck outta every company I can think of that might have openings in our areas.

Please, share your job hunting successes!

Monster.com, the Denver Post classifieds and industry trade papers are getting most of my attention now.

Also checking with companies (that we deal with now) to see if they want to establish/ expand operations in Colorado.

Hey E!!! Have you come across HVH yet????? And my BIL is working on some names for ya! He's driven for companies and for himself in CO for about 15 years now....I'm sure he's gotta know SOMEONE.

Funny story (but true) I talked to my sister last night and explained I had a PH friend moving to Denver. She asked your name and I really, really, really had to think hard about it!! I told her...umm, ummm, ummmmm, it's Ron...but I know him as Elrod, or just E. :D

She was amused. :D

None of them. I've found the best way to get a job is through networking and making connections. I've tried both Monster and Career Builder. They have some good tools, but to me it seems like a waste of time.

Oh yeah, did I mention that I used to work for a head hunter and we never used any on-line sites/resumes to fill jobs.
