Excluding Jimmy...what is your favorite era of music?

I'd have to go with the 90's because that's when I feel music actually became important to me personally, and I began developing my own tastes.

I have a huge appreciate for everything 60's, 70's, and 80's...but the 90's were a pivotal time for me :D

1970's, when southern rock was king. I heard a DJ say that southern rock was so popular up here in NY back then that sometimes he thought NY was a Confederate state.

I didn't realize Buffet was an "era" of music. My favorite era is the present, lots of good music out there being made. Loretta Lynn recorded one of her finest albums ever but unfortunately it was never heard by the majority of the public.

I wanted to make the poll clear that we were not talking about Jimmy's eras of music. Just music in general. :D

*I* knew what you meant about Buffett, Mal.

Anyway, the 70's did have some good music, but it also had some of the worst, I think, or at least some of the songs and music I hated the most. The 60's music always puts me in a good mood!

I'm still confused. Buffett has been releasing albums since the 70s, so every era since then has contained Buffett music. Not trying to be argumentative here, just trying to understand what you meant.

I think she meant
Not including Jimmy Buffett's music from each era, which is your favorite.

Yes Mallory. I too am confused, as is my brother Joe here. Your poll makes no sense! As Joe stated earlier in this thread, I too wasn't aware that Buffett constituded and "era" of music! Perhaps you should think a bit more before throwing all these polls around!

Are you really expecting Joe and I to believe that you somehow KNOW what Mallory is thinking? I think not!

I accept your apology. Thank you for correcting yourself in a proper and appropriate manner! It's too bad some of the other people on this website can't be the same way.

Mal --
I would like to stipulate for that record that I had no problem whatsoever discerning the meaning of the query in your poll.
