Who's a virgin?

Post by OceanCityGirl »

Go ahead admit it. You know you want to.
I'll raise my hand. Been a long time Buffett fan. Early I was raising little kids and poor. Now I have some money to indulge my habit and have problems getting tix. This year I'm going to follow every bit of BN advice and I know I"ll get tix. That's if there is going to be a Camden show. Or since my BIL works security at alot of shows at Tinley I may see what he can do for me. I'd rather to tinley then Wrigley because i don't think there'll be much tailgating at Wrigley.

It's OK OCG. There's a few others out there too!

BNrs could certainly be your most valuable resource if you have twubble with tickets.

Hang in there. Best wishes for popping your Buffett cherry.

no let down here. i didn't know what to expect because i hadn't been a fan a long time at that point.

just go in with an open mind. it only hurts for a minute.....if you drink too much that is.

Well, I'm not a virgin anymore. And I have to admit, once I finally did it, I found I can't get enough!

I hope the Tinley works out for you, and that I see you there!

Sounds like somebody has some stamina. Don't know if I can keep up.

Well, in this area only am I a vigrin  I've been a fan for only about 3 years, however, I am only a few years behind Mr.B himself. I can't believe I missed listening to his awesome music all these years. Someone on this site sent me a Jerry Jeff Walker Cd and I find him amazing also. I think when we get a little older is life, we really begin to appreciate things so much more.

passing out on the bus to Alpine because you just put down 9 Jello Shots in Racine is probably not technically a "powernap" :D

But the Jello shots are sort of like having a protein shake. They might contribute to the stamina thing.

I noticed tickets being sold at a lot of places just hours away from the start of the show. So I suggest, if a show is close enough, go for the tailgateing. And maybe you can score some tickets. But be careful that the tixs are not fakes

good luck

That's definitely my plan this year. Hopefully if I have to buy them day of show I can get them from somebody obviously with a club. Last year there were alot of fakes going around.

Club tickets are nice, but technically only club members are allowed to have club tixs.

I wasn't even thinking about club tickets. I was thinking if I saw them with a group of folks in a club I'd feel better about buying them. You know, wife went into labor and couldn't make it, hubby has the flu.But I"m joining our local club in April when the new memberships kick in. I just won't have time after that to get enough volunteer time to earn tix.

You call it what you want, but everytime I can rebound from sleeping in my own vomit, that my friend, is a powernap. 8)
